April 10, 1969 at Rico, GA He had in his possession the old family Bible that belonged to his forefather, James Clayton Mixon, containing a lot of family Information. He was a trustee and a member of the Official Board and Church Lay Leader in the Methodist Church at Rico, GA His wife is Sunday School Superintendent.   Roland m. (1) Eva Celeste Ingram, b. May 19, 1913, d. Dec 17, 1956.

The Mixons have a family reunion at this church once each year, usually on the first Sunday in October. Mr. Mixon m. (1) Eva Ingram. Their children:
