Mar. 9, 1896 at Hattiesburg, MS A Confederate soldier in the Civil War, he was a member of Company "B", 27th MS Infantry. About 1850, he m. Mary Sarah Sumrall, b. Sep 24, 1830, d. Jan 10, 1862.
