Alexander Hamilton Mixon, foster son of Francis Marion and Mary Elizabeth Scoggins Mixon, was b. Mar. 22, 1887, d. His widow (who is still living) states that her husband was a son of one of the sons of Francis Marion Mixon and his wife, who had married and lost his wife soon after the birth of their son and the child was taken and raised by his grandparents. On June 15, 1901, he m. at Vermontville, Mich., Alma Electa Hawkins. , b. Jun 16, 1885, d. Jul 11, 1976.
