 Michael Cornelius Mixson, b. abt 1770.  Several persons on Ancestry.com list his birth as Nov 27, 1773 in Richmond, VA, d. Nov 2, 1835 in Perry, Shiawassee, MI, m. Sally Kirkland, b. May 4, 1780, d. Mar 11, 1839 in Perry, Shiawassee, MI although I can find no definitive records to collaborate this.   There are a number of Mixon and Mixson and Kirkland’s found in South Carolina which could be this Michael Cornelius (or Cornelius Michael).
