Leila Mixon, dau. of James R. Mixon (1063) and his second wife Mary Alice Skeeters Mixon, was b. Oct. 8, 1890 at Appleby, Nacogdoches County, Texas, m. Mar. 10, 1910, John Acrey - b. April 25, 1888, d. Jan. 21, 1971 at Nacogdoches, TX He was the son of Silas Abner and Eliza Bates Acrey.  Leila Mixon Acrey was awarded Vol. I, “The Mixon-Mixson Family�? book for being the oldest living Mixon, or Mixon descendant, to attend the Mixon reunion held at Nacogdoches, Texas, Sept. 1, 1974. Both bur. Cushing Cemetery, Cushing, Nacogdoches County, TX.   All following children were born at Cushing, Texas:
