A Thanksgiving Story

Mr. Shaune heads to Aunt Mary's!
After Yark goes down and Raschelle is restrained and blacks out, Mr. Pischube, and the ladies rush forward to help. The men transport the limp Raschelle into the house and lay her on the bed where she is left with just the ladies attending. The men folk exit out onto the back porch. Suddenly, they remember Albey and look around. "He's gone!" says Billy.
Mr. Shaune puts his papers away and rises from his desk, puts on his coat and hat, opens the door of the manager's office, and walks down the hall to the reception room of the DCRGBKLBC. "Gone for the day, Mr. Shaune?" asks one of the old timers.
"Oui, my friends. Eets Thanksgiving, and I must join some freends. You boys weel bee o.k. here? Jus' ree-mem-bear to lock zee door when you leeve, s'il vous plait. Au revoir, mes amies."
Shaune gets in his car and drives off. At San Pablo Road, he turns right and drives to the intersection of Atlantic Boulevard where he turns left and heads west to Girvin Road. He slows down and turns right. But instead of continuing on towards Aunt Mary's house, he pulls into the little bar and parks. He sits there waiting.
In a few minutes, he sees a Willis coming up Girvin Road. Shaune can see four men in the car as it turns into the bar parking lot and stops. From out of the Willis car emerges Albey Yark. The other 3 men remain seated. Yark walks over to Shaune, who is still seated behind the wheel.
"Shaune, yore just in time, says Albey.
"Everthin' is going as planned. Mr. R.L. is here ready to drive you to Mary's and Rufus'.
"Bernny went and checked on the goings-on inside Raschelle's house where the womenfolk were getting Raschelle all cleaned up and dressed.
"Bernny says Raschelle's fainted, probably due to all the emotions of the fight.
"Nobody got hurt, so don't worry, although she thinks she's kilt her daddy.
"Bernny said the menfolks at the fight heard her a-screamin' that just afore she done up and swooned away."
"Albey, I weel go now, weeth Monsieur R.L. Yoo weel be com-EENG late-TAIR? Zee key eez een zee eeg-NEE-shee-ON."
Then Shaune opens the door, gets out and walks over to the waiting Willis car, & Albey says, "I'll be seein' you at Miss Mary's in about a half hour, Shaune." Yark sits down in Shaune's car, closes the door and watches the Willis pull off down Girvin Road.
