Brenda and Tom got up early – they have to be at the church at 8:30. They take Andrew but Morris and I are going to babysit Jeremy and Kristopher. After breakfast we go outdoors but it’s raining lightly so we come in and from 8:30 til 10:15 I play and entertain them!  Morris isn’t feeling well (he’s had a bad cold from the 3rd or 4th day we arrived) and he goes back to sleep. Finally it clears up and we take them for a walk. We find a bakery and a small grocery store which we go in. We buy candy, cookies and drinks and continue our walk. We get back at 12:00 as Brenda and Tom are supposed to meet us for lunch at 12:30 but it was 12:45 and ten one o’clock before we go to the restaurant. It’s a beautiful dining room in the hotel right next door to where we’re staying. We had an excellent meal, but Jeremy was tired and he cried, Andres got to screaming and crying and we ate in shifts! Poor Brenda finally got to eat and her’s was cold!

We got Jeremy down for his nap at 2:15 and Brenda and Tom took off again for more conference meetings. Jeremy woke up at 4:15 and Morris and I took him and Kristopher to a nice little park about 2 blocks and circled back. I let them play outdoors til 6:30 and then we had cheese and cold cuts and ice cream for desert here at the guest house. Tom brought Brenda and Andrew back at seven and he immediately went back (it should be over at 9 pm tonight).

Brenda bathed the boys and had them all to bed by 8:30 and then she went to bed.    

Morris and I walked about 2 blocks over to a “Beer Fest” held in a big tent. There’s lots of bands, music and singing, drinking beer and smoking. The place was packed so we didn’t stay very long. I’ve been writing now for over an hour and my hand is about to give out. Morris is in bed snoring so loud I’ll probably have trouble going to sleet put its 10:30 pm and I’d better try.
