The next day we hiked up stream to what was the enchanted forest. Before the flood in 2008 the river flowed though the forest (below left) and over the falls (right). They said this was one of the most beautiful spots. Everywhere the water flowed it deposits travertine covering the ground, braches, roots and making stalactites. There were pools of water in all of these pictures just a year ago.
