In June Mom and Dad set off on a six-week trip in their motorhome. Since their retirement in ’89, they had taken shorter trips of a few days to a week but this was their first longer adventure. Their plan was to spend a week in the mountains of North Carolina then spend a few days in Virginia and visit with me before proceeding to Michigan where they would spend a couple of weeks with Mom’s relatives. This is Mom’s log of their trip.
