I debated with myself for some time about the floor, tile?, wood? tile? wood? I finally decided to go with wood. I like the way it looks and is much warmer in the winter. I went to three different flooring places and found that Lumber Liquidators had what I wanted and at the best price. My first choice was cherry but they were out and wouldn't have it in stock for four to six weeks so I went with a Brazilian Cherry which I found I actually liked better.
I installed the floor myself (right). It is not difficult but is hard work. It took me two full days but in the end it was beautiful!
