Dear Morris
It’s 9:30 and I at last found time to write you. Just as soon as I finish, I’m going to bed. I’m plain dead.
Please excuse the pencil but I plum forgot a pen. And excuse the writing also, as I’m eating a candy bar.
I like it her lots, but I’m lonesome. I have met so many girls that I dream about them.
Guess what, I got scared and didn’t run for governor. I’m a baby O.K. and I guess I do need rubber pants. But in the county elections I rand for Supervisor of Registration and glory be I got it. I ran for a count commissioner too, but I didn’t get it.
Yesterday we went to the college president’s home for an reception. Today we went to the capital and heard 4 lectures. Very boring. This afternoon we haled state elections. And tonight (7 til just a little while ago) we had recreation in the gym.
Its’ really beautiful here. I don’t know if I like it here beter or in Gainesville. But it is every hot!! I nearly cooked all day.
Did you go to church Sunday?
Gosh, it would be more fun if you were here. I really do miss you, and do you know I don’t even have a picture of you? When we go to Mich. I bet I get one!!
Well, I’ll close for now as I’m so sleepy. I didn’t get to bed til 12 last niight.
Love Ya!
Barbara
P.S.
See you Sat. some time, I’ll let you know definite later.
Love
Barbara
