Dearest Morris

Well, its’ a good thing I got that letter today!  Do you know its’ Wed. and it was the first letter?  And a short one too.  I’d better get a long one tomorrow or I’ll be mad.  And another reason I’m mad, I wanted to go skating tonight but daddy wouldn’t let me, as we we’re going to Lake Michigan early tomorrow morning.

Gosh, we were on the go all day yesterday and today.  Guess what, we saw Dick today.  He looks just like his picture.  He is real cute.  You know he was going in the navy, but he was rejected because of his knee.  We saw a whole mess of other relatives too.

You said in you letter that “we” went to the beach.  Who was the “we”?  Hos is that preacher?  You didn’t even say that you missed sitting by me in church or didn’t you?

Gosh, excuse this writing but they go the record player going and Dixie is playing “Civilization” and I can’t half  think.  All she does is to play it over and over, and I’m going nuts.

You still didn’t say what you did last Sat. Night.

Oh, I got a surprise for your car.  There so cute.  You’ll be surprised.  I hope you like them.

Oh, I want to explain about my last letter I wrote it last Sun. Afternoon and Sun. night, Helen & her boyfriend, Sue & I took my aunt & uncle home.  They live in Grand Rapids.  And my aunt is just 24.  She used to live with us when we lived in Mich.  And she would get letters from her boyfriend and my other aunt and I would open them by steam and read them.  So she said she was going to get my back.  So she tried to get it, as I had it in my pocket.  And she finally did get it .  Made me so mad I also cried.  She, Sue, and Helen all read it.  Now all they do is kid me.  But I don’t care now. They are all so nosy!!

Oh, year, we get those pictures back tomorrow.  If that one of me is good I’ll send you it.

Well I’ll close for now.

Love & kisses
Barbara

P.S.

Sure do mis you.  I sure do wish you were here, so you could go to the Lake with us tomorrow.

I’ll be so glad when we get back.  Won’t you?

Darling, now write me as it’s lonesome as all get out up here.  I’ll expect a letter every day from now on.

Love ya' aways
Barbara

P.S.S.

I love you .

Do you love me?

That darn record player – so excuse this writing

And your writing is good – no kidding –
