Dearest Morris

That drippy letter I wrote this afternoon well ---- you’ll just have to excuse it.  I wanted you to know I was thinking of you, and I didn’t have time to write a good one; so I just scribbled it off.

Why I’m writing this is because we came back to grandma’s instead of going to Sparta like we planned.

I got your nice three page letter this morning.  And do you mean to tell me just because you didn’t get a letter one day that you would wait a few days before you would write me?  Darling, I’ve tried to write you every day, but last week I had only 2 letters from you.  Anyway I’ve written you everyday this week and twice today, so that will make up for it, huh?

And darling we’re going to have twin girls, not boys. Only one boy, and then our twin girls.   No basketball team either, only a trio, will do.

Honestly there are more drive inns up here!  All Grand Rapids consisted of is car lots and Drive Inns.      Dick is coming up Friday afternoon.  He is supposed to take Sue & me out.  Don’t get jealous!

Mom got Sue & me a new dress yesterday in town.  Real cute.  Just think maybe some day you’ll be buying me cloths!  Funny thought, isn’t it?

Well, darling I must close as I’m sleepy, as you can tell by this writing.

Love aways
Barbara

P.S.

I still Love you
