Dearest Morris,
Well, how are you tonight? I’m lonesome as everything. Just think
Thurs. Fri. and Sat., nights again spent home. Honest my aunt lives
out here on a farm and miles away from civilization! Our cottage is
about 15 miles from the city too. We eat all our meals here at my
aunts so that’s where we are now.
Darling we’ll be home about the 12 or 13th of August. Anyway that’s
what we figure now. Will you be glad? Gosh, I’ll never be so goat
to get home ------.
All we did today was got up, ate breakfast, went to grandmas
Juniors, looked for a cottage for next week and then back here to my
aunts. Ate supper, did dishes, gave Freddie & Gary & myself a bath
and now doing this. Exciting isn’t it? Honest it was never been
so boring in my life.
That letter daddy sent to you today, well he only put a three cent
stamp on it, so darling it’s not my fault. I told him to put an
airmail stamp on it, but he said he forgot. So don’t think I didn’t
write one day. Darling I’ll be so glad to hear from you. I haven’t
heard from you in 3 days!! And so tell me about the car. I’m
anxious to know what you did.
Darling as I said before there isn’t a thing to write about so I’ll
close for now. And I still love you. I hope you’re leaving the
girls alone! (Just a joking) I know you are. I trust you. But
there’s a lot of girls up there.
I’ll close for now.
Love ya' aways
Barbara
P.S.
Still love me?
Bye, Bye
