Dearest Darling,

Here I am at school and its’ boring as everything.  Darling, I hope to get a letter from you, so I’ll write now and answer it.  We just saw a picture and the couple got married and darling I wish it were us.  Last night coming home from church I got it just like I told you I would.  I was acting up and daddy was going to slap my face, and I just laughed and he got so mad.  And also about me sitting in you car, didn’t I tell you I would catch it?

Barbara Duff and Joyce Curl both got heck all week-end too, so the six of us are going to Ga.  Honey, do you think you can afford it?  I’d just as soon quit school anyway.  Dixie and I decided we’d run away last night, but I decided now that we can just go to Ga. and darling, I can’t go with you Sunday, mom and dad are going to St. Pete.  And Sue & I have to stay home.  I’m so mad but you can hurry and then come over.  We don’t have to go to church Sun. night.  Goody!!

Darling, you still owe me that 23¢.  You know this last weekend sure wasn’t as good as the week before, was it?  Next week you can come up Fri. Sat. and Sun.  We’ll have fun, won’t we?

No need for me to tell you that I love you, cause you already know it.  But I’ll close now and darling please write me, even if you do come up Wed. night.

Love you forever
Your future wife
Barbara

P.S.
Do you still love me?
Just wait until next June.
