Dearest Morris,

I have just now found time to write to you.  Mom and dad ought to be here to eat supper in about 10 min.  (Freddie just broke a plate and he’s crying).  Sue, Dixie, & I cooked supper tonight.  Last night I was going to write you, as I was not going to play practice.  But about 15 to 8 Bonnie & Mary Ann came & got us and mom made us go.     

Well, I just finished supper and we have to go play practice again tonight.  Boy, Have I got a cold and my head hurts.  Maybe I’ll stay home tonight.  Thurs. night our Glee Club is going to sing at P.T.A and Fri night is the game with Summerfield.  I don’t suppose I can go out Sat. night, seeing I will have been out all this week.     

Well, I will now finish this letter.  We just got back from play practice.  Its 9:45 and am I sleepy!  Darling, how have you been today?  Flirted with many girls?  Pop was acting up tonight.  He  said when I get married he’s going to be the first one to kiss me, and I told him no he wasn’t; you were.  Oh, yes we got our 2 English tests back and I made 95 on one, and A on the other.  We are having our senior pictures made Thurs. afternoon in Ocala at 4:30.  Will I have to look over my Spanish test tomorrow so darling I’ll close.
