Dearest Morris,

I am now in study hall, last period and have not a thing to do.  All the homework I have is a vocabulary test in English tomorrow, and I have to study that tonight when I’m by myself.  I just finished writing Sue a letter.

We had a picture show this morning and I was so sleepy, and the picture was awfull so after 20 min. of it Tiny and I went the sick room and went to sleep.  Until Joyce came up and jumped into the bed with us and woke us up.  Then we lay and talked.  Wyndall wants to get married in June, too.  Joyce said he wouldn’t take her home until 2 o’clock Sun. morning cause she wouldn’t promise him to marry him in June.  I still think its’ impossible for us to get married in June, but if we don’t we will for sure in Sept. huh?  But we’ll see how things turn out.  Its’ raining right now.  Boy we sure do need it.  I got it for not coming in until so late last nite, but I don’t care.  Well, I’ll close and I still love you lots & lots. Barbara

P.S.

I’ve been wishing I could see you all day.  That lucky Sue, Jimmy, Betty, and Billy!  Do you miss me?  Remember you promised to write me.  It’s going to be a long week; just think I won’t see you until Friday nite!  Heck, Joyce suggested today why don’t we get married secretly, and just rent a cabin every nite we’re together.  The awful thing.  Bet we’d get caught, don’t you?  Well darling the bell is about to ring, so I’ll close. Love you. Barbara. .

Love you. Barbara
