Dearest Darling,
Mom is getting supper and I’ve done all I can, so I’ll write you so
you can get this. How are you, did you get home O.K. Sunday nite?
I didn’t have time to write you in study hall cause I’ve used every
one typing on my term paper. I have 24 pages already typed, and I
still have four long chapters to go. All of our work has to be in
by the end of next week.
Darling we can’t go to Orlando, so I’m not getting a new evening
dress. And I guess we’ll go to Silver Glenn next Sunday. Joyce and
I decided we’d wait until after school is out to go to Daytona, all
right?
I think I’m going to the Watermelon Festival tomorrow with Tiny &
her mother. Thurs. nite I’m going to the revival in Weirsdale,
daddy’s preaching. The trio will be there and then Friday I’ll see
you, huh? Goody. I can’t wait until the banquet. I hope its nice.
Boy, did it rain here yesterday. It looks like we’re getting a
storm now. The sky is almost all black. I think mom & dad are
going to the revival tonite.
Darling I can’t think of another thing to say so I’ll close.
Remember you promised you’d write. Did you get your car fixe? I
hope so Bye and remember I still love you lots & lots & forever &
ever.
Loveyou forever (do you really think I do?)
Your loving wife-to-be
Barbara Rose Junior (Mixson) (someday)
P.S.
Just think 2 weeks & 3 days yet to go to school. Quesa
what?? I love you
