Dearest Barbara,

I didn’t get a chance to write last night because I was too tired and sleepy.  I went to bed about 7:30 and didn’t get up until 15 to to eight.     

Darling wish you were here so I wouldn’t have to write this letter.  Things have slowed down at work and I have time to think about you.  Gosh Honey it seems like a long time since & have seen you.  A week is a long time to go without seeing you.     

I worked on my brakes tonight and I think I have it stopped from leaking, but they don’t stop like they should.  I’m going to have somebody else to adjust them.  

Honey did you have your friends yesterday.  Don’t you stay up too much this week.  I might decide to come down Friday night and we can go to the show.  It looks like we won’t be able to go on Sat. night any more.     

I showed Mama the ring and she said it was pretty.  Grandma was here and she saw it too.  Whish you had them both on and were here beside me now.     

Will good night Darling.  Remember I love you lots & lots and a little more each time I see you.
