Dearest darling,
I’ve just been sitting here for about an hour
thinking of you and when we are married. I haven’t had hardly any
business this morning yet. It’s gona be so nice.
I got a letter from Shirly this morning and they are going to
Jacksonville instead, so she said they probably wouldn’t even come
up here.
Yesterday mom had dinner all ready and we didn’t have any bread. So
she quicks goes down to the store and while she was gone a cousin of
ours, his wife, his wife’s sister, mom & dad all came. Dinner was
all on the table too, so dad asks them if they had dinner. Of
course they said “no”. So dad had to go to the store, get a barrel
of more food and then we had to cook it. We didn’t have dinner
until about 3:30, and I was literally starved!! But 5 people to
come when they haven’t eaten is really nerve, don’t you think?
Yesterday I thought we really were going to have a storm. Boy did
the wind blow, and did it lighting. Also about 5 o’clock then some
more people from Ga. stopped. But they only stayed abut 1 ½ hr.
OK, yes it never did rain much tho. And all the people left. Thank
goodness. I didn’t go to church Mon. nite, or last nite. I may
go tonight.
Darling, come up early Sat. afternoon so we can go to Ocala. I want
to buy some shoes, and maybe a dress. I bet you anything you
don’t write me, but I’ll look for a letter anyway tomorrow. I
started not to write you, but I was thinking about you and I just
couldn’t resist. I wish you were like that. Oh darling I’ve made
us up a budget, so when we get married. But I didn’t know how much
money you needed for the car. I said $30 a month, how is that?
Well I’ll close for now. I still love you lots and lots.
