Barbara and Morris    Barbara and Morris Mixson, parents of Brenda, Larry, David and Beth.  (David was not mentioned in the journal.)  

Brenda and Tom         Brenda is the oldest daughter of Barbara and Morris. Brenda married Tom Stallworth. Their sons in order of age: Kristopher, Jeremy and the baby Andrew  

Larry                        Oldest son of Barbara and Morris, Brenda’s brother.  

Betty and Billy            Betty and Billy Yawn are Barbara and Morris’s best friends who have known each other since high school. They get together often to play cards which at this time in 1981, Uno was their card game of choice.  

Libby and Ernie           Libby and Ernie St. Jacques were Barbara and Morris’s good friends who they met at Westside Church.  Libby and Ernie’s son John and I (Larry) were friends.  

Beth and Mark           Beth is Barbara and Morris’s youngest daughter. Beth married Mark Woodruff the month before Barbara and Morris went to Austria.  

Grandma Junior         Waive Junior, Barbara’s mother.

Grandpa Junior          Fred Junior, Barbara's father

Grandma Mixson        Rosalie Anderson Mixson, Morris’s mother.

Sue                           Sue (Junior) Mixson is mom’s younger sister. Sue married Morris’s first cousin Jim Mixson.  

Dixie                         Mom’s younger sister.  

Kristi                         Dixie’s oldest daughter.  

Connie                       Connie is Barbara’s sister-in-law, married to Barbara’s younger brother Cork Junior.  

Uno                           A card game that has special colored cards.
