A GARDEN
A garden is to love, To look at in the early morning
dew
To watch the colors as they emerge, Red, white, and blue.
The zinnias, pinks and yellow marigolds, Wonderful wonders to make
one think and thank God for his love and goodness.
Some people might think, Oh, to be young, joyful and beautiful,
But since I’ve been there, Let me say,
I wouldn’t go back!
It’s more peaceful where I am, a white-haired grandmother-
Remembering my dear children and loving the grandchildren but not
having the care of them, just the love and joy of seeing them
grow.
Thank God for all.
