Preface
I have been wanting to
write a story for some time about Devil’s Millhopper and Warren’s Cave
when, in my writings, I came to the year 1968 and I was in the 10th
grade. Word had spread at school about a boy and girl from Gainesville
High School who entered Warren’s Cave and were injured and from this the
story came to life. The story is based on real places and natural
formations that occur in Florida and other places. I hope you enjoy it
as much as I did writing it.
