JOHN MIXON - b. Feb 14, 1680, Gloucestershire
County, Virginia, wife PRUDENCE LIDE - b. March 18, 1683. He died 27
Feb, 1734, Onslow County, NC She died Jun 9, 1738 in South Carolina.
(Note: It is possible she died Jun 9, 1728 in North Carolina.)
JOHN MIXON married (2) JOYCE CLEAVE PHILLIPS, a
widow, in June, 1729, Hyde County, North Carolina).
John and William were in the Craven Co. Militia in
1754 (p. 220, Vol 22, Colonial Records, NC)
