Charles Andrew Mixson, son of William C. and Martha Law Mixson, was b. in Coffee County, AL, Nov 13, 1871, d. at Kirbyville, TX, Sep 14, 1942 bur. Kirbyville City Cemetery, Kirbyville, TX. He went to TX early in his twenties and engaged in sawmilling for a while, but soon joined his brother, James M. Mixson at the Kirbyville Mixson Bros. store, buying an interest in same. He was in charge of the gin and fertilizer end of the business.  About 1907, he m. Arabelle Singletary - b. Nov 6, 1876, d. Feb 11, 1956, bur. Kirbyville City Cemetery, Kirbyville, TX. No Children of their own, but did adopt his nephew Dwight Lyman Mixon, son of William Thomas Mixson^#36:

Millard Franklin Mixson, son of William C. and Martha Law Mixson, was b. in Coffee County, AL, Dec 3, 1875, d. May 20, 1937, at Tuscaloosa, AL His entire business life was spent as an assistant in the U.S. Govt, War Dept., Warrior-Tombigbee Waterways. After his death, one of the river boats was named the "Mixson" in his memory (See the Birmingham News, Aug 21, 1961 issue). He was m. to Earle Phifer, b. Nov 19, 1877, d. Dec 19, 1960 at Tuscaloosa.   Both bur. Evergreen Cemetery, Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County, AL.
