Educated at the Dallas College of the SMU, he became interested in dealing in real estate and developing same, and now owns extensive commercial properties, including one entire shopping center in Dallas. In January 1928, he, m. at Poynor, TX, Maude Lela Williams, b. Jan 11, 1908, d. Jun 18, 1995, dau. of Mark E. and May Ellison Williams. She is a graduate of a local business college. Mr. Mixon is a 32 degree Mason and a Shriner.

He presumed there were some brothers and sisters in the family and he hoped some information might be found on them).
