Mar 3, 2007, dau. of Andrew James and Maggie Estelle Bruner Smoak. (Mrs. Mixon was the widow of Vance B. Bessinger). Both bur. Memorial Park Cemetery, Orangeburg, Orangeburg County, SC.

Andrew Benjamin Mixson, s. of William Nelson and Catherine Trowell Mixson, was b. in Hampton County, SC Dec 22, 1903, d. 1964 in a Colleton County Hospital from injuries received in an auto wreck near Waycross, GA. He was vice president of Edisto Lumber Company. He m. Lucia R. “Luch” Dillard, b. Oct 1, 1907, d. Feb 2, 2002.  Both Bur. Sand Hill Cemetery, Varnville, Hampton County, SC.
