Note: Some on Ancestry.com show Daniel Ham Mixon as son of Simpson J Mixon which seems to come from the 1880 Census 1880 Stokes Bridge, Darlington, SC, widow Sarah J-49, children: Daniel J-13, Christopher C-11, Mehala C-8; living with son John S-23 with his wife Sarah A-27, children: Henry F-1m.  The Daniel J in this census is Daniel Jehu Mixon (#1077) who is the brother of John Simpson Mixon. Death certificate lists father and mother “Don’t know” and informant Ansil Mixon.
