Mary Walton Mixson, dau. of James Joyce Mixson, II, and his wife, Elizabeth Stanyard Johnson Mixson, was b. Feb 12, 1864, d. May 18, 1917, buried at Wacahoota Baptist Cemetery, Alachua County, FL, m. (1) Paul Tyner, son of Capt. Tyner, who gave lands for Orange Hill Cemetery. No children. She m. (2) Robert K. Mixson, children: (see #750)

Mary Walton Mixson, m. (3) Charles Jefferson Phillips, b. Mar, 18, 1864 on a farm about 10 miles from Carthage, NC, d. Nov 1942 at Jacksonville, FL, buried in Oaklawn Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Phillips was a Miss Mixson, and was twice married, her first husband also being a Mixson. Shi is survived by her second husband, Mr. Charles J. Phillips and by two daughters, Mrs. D. G. Haley of Jacksonville, and Mrs. Edgar H. Price of Washington, and by two little granddaughters, Marienne Haley and Mary Price.
