Thomas Joel Norris, b. Dec 3, 1868, d. Oct 28, 1937 at Choudrant, LA he was educated at Ruston College, at Mt. Lebanon College and at LA State U. A member of Kappa Sigma fraternity and played in the band. A farmer and a banker, he was president of the Bank of Choudrant for a number of years. He was a Baptist, a Mason and a Democrat. On Dec 24, 1896, he m. Jessie Mae Warren, b. Dec 24, 1876, d. May 31, 1960, dau. of James Elbert and Martha Alice Calhoun Warren. She was a teacher.  Both bur.
