Emily T. Mixon, dau. of Obed Z. Mixon and wife, Mary Vienna Page Mixon, was b. Dec. 30, 1863 at Liberty Hill, Bienville Parish, LA, d. Dec. 25. 1916 at Gansville, LA.  About 1879 she m. Andrew Jackson Taylor, b. April 18, 1861 at Liberty Hill, LA, d. Aug. 11, 1939 at Gansville, LA. He was the son of Alfred Leonard and Samantha Lee Taylor.  Both bur. at Gansville Cemetery, Gansville, Winn Parish, LA.  They had a large family, the first seven of their children were born at Liberty Hill, Bienville Parish, all others at Gansville, Winn Parish.
