Florence

Arriving in Florence the day before the retreat, I arrived exhausted around 8:30 PM and stayed in an AirB&B room in downtown Florence.  Getting up early the next day to the view from the front window overlooking a plaza with the vendors setting up shop and the church dome in the distance. 

Having a few hours before having to meet the rest of the group at the airport, I walked around the streets of Florence, falling in love with with each view down the narrow streets.

 Turning a corner there was the Neptune Fountain.... 

Another street was lined entirely with street vendors selling leather goods

I could have speent several days in Florence, but it was time to leave to meet up with the rest of the group
