Dear Morris

Goodness has this day been long! We finally landed there, on top of this mountain. And is it ever cold!

I just finished my shower, and rolling my hair and I’m ready for bed.  Its’ only 8 now.  This morning we stopped at my uncle’s & aunt’s house at Cartersville for an hour.  We left this morning from Atlanta about 10:30 so you see we didn’t get very far today.  Also this afternoon we had a detour and was it a detour!  But it hasn’t been so bad.  We hope to get to Indiana tomorrow.  We are going to get up at 5 tomorrow.

Did you go to the church last night?  I suppose you didn’t as I wasn’t there you didn’t have no object in going, did you? (Just joking)

Have you missed me?  Now, you do write me so I have a letter Sat. Please, honey.

Oh, yes I found out who said that.  It was Mrs. Danzler.  The old thing.

Please excuse the paper as its’ all I have.  Have you noticed I’m using a pen?  Now you and Jimmy be good.  And I still love you so do you love me yet?  Or have you forgotten me?  I hope that old girl in Williston isn’t bothering you.

Well I’ll close for now, just waiting for Sat. for that letter.

Love Ya' always
Barbara
