Dear Morris

Surprise – no notebook paper – tablet paper tho.  I hope to use some stationery some time soon.

Well, we did get a little farther today.  We will be at grandma’s tomorrow at noon.  Boy, did we travel today.  And another detour!  It wasn’t so hot as we were in the mts. Nearly all day.  And Sue entertained us – she made me laugh until I cried. The crazy thing.

This place where we’re staying now has sulfur water, and its’ awfull.  And by chance, its’ the same place we styed in 6 yrs. Ago when we first came to Ga.

The letter I wrote you last nite, I didn’t to mail until late this afternoon.  Did you write me yet?  I dying to get that letter.  Mom said today that she would give anything to read it.  But of course I won’t let her, not by a long shot.  (Excuse the expression)

The place where we ate lunch today reminded me so of the Chicken Ranch that I got so homesick for it.  Now you be good if you go there, and no flirting!  Oh excuse me I’m not supposed to be jealous, I forgot.  But you’d better not.

You know it will be easier to write you after I receive some letters from you.

Think I’ll close now as sue is hollering for this pen.

Love for ever & ever
Barbara

P.S.

 A letter Sat. Huh?
Be good Sat. Night.
Remember we are going steady!
(Just a joking)
