Dearest Morris

Received your letter this morning so will answer now.  Boy, did we do a wah this morning!  I just finished washing my hair, and rolling it.

Gosh, am I mad at daddy first for general reasons.  Honest, he makes me so mad.

You poor little thing, I bet you do feel bad.   Its’ a good thing I’m way up here, so I can’t catch hat cold.  I suppose your brother has left by now, and you’re back in your bed.  Boy, you had better have caught that cold from that baby!

And darling I was talking about that girl in Williston that Jimmy told me about.  That one that always wants you to go with her, and she calls Jimmy “Curly.”  I didn’t even think of Laura.  Honest I didn’t.  And I was just easing anyway, so forgive me.

Last night we went to church in Grand Rapids and you know what, they start 6:45 and we were out at 8:15! It was still light out.  I wish we did that, then we could go somewhere after church.  Don’t you?  Sue said that Jimmy said in his letter this morning that you, Charles Pardee & he were going either to Jack. Or Tampa sometime soon.  Are you??  You’d better go to Tampa.  I’m not scared with all those foreigners there.

Oh, guess what!!!! Dick is coming back to Fla. With us.  I really don’t know if that’s bad or good, do you?  I want to go to the show tonight in Wayland and see “Family Honeymoon” but daddy ----- so I don’t know if Sue & me will get to go or not.

Sue, Helen and the kids with some of my cousins are playing jump rope.  They big babies.

Well, darling seen your brother has gone I’ll expect a letter everyday.

So I’ll close for now.

Love ya' aways
Barbara

P.S.

I Love you, huh!
