Note:
The reference "one of your basketball players" is that Barbara was a cheerleader for the basketball team.
I not been able to figure out who the twin babies are.

Hi Honey,
I didn’t get a letter from you Saturday and I think I should have. I sent all my letters air mail so you should have heard from me by this time. I’ve been sick over the week and went to the doctor on Saturday. Didn’t feel much like going to work today, but guess I’ll live. Jimmie said you were mad because you haven’t heard from me. If I don’t hear from you today you’ll be good and mad because I’ll wait a few days before I write again. I wouldn’t be writing this but I think I’ll get a letter today.
Well its time to go to work I’ll write in between work so if you’ll know why it sounds crazy. But I guess it sounds that way anyway. I love you.
Jimmie sure was disappointed because he did
Say I saw one of your basketball players the other day in the pool room. I think they call him Jack, anyway he was a big guy. He was Ed.
The first session of the summer school ends this week and the second session starts Monday. Maybe I won’t have to work very hard for a while.
Say Honey believe it or not I rocked the baby to sleep twice while they were here. He liked me for some reason. I can’t figure it out can you. You don’t like me do you! He has more life in him than any baby I ever saw. How would you like to have twins like him. Oh! We’re going to have a whole football team. Maybe we’d better settle for a basketball team at the most. That’s five.
Honey I’m running out of something to write about. So be good and I’ll try to write to you everyday. Don’t forget I love you.
I didn’t go to church last night, I wasn’t feeling any too good and had a headache on to of that.
Love Always
Morris
