Dearest Morris
Well, no letter today, but I’ll forgive you. I do suppose your
busy – doing nothing. But do you know Sue has received 9 letters
from Jimmy and I have only got 3 from you. But I do consider you
don’t like to write.
There’s really not anything to write, but I want you to know that
I’m thinking of you. Well, we did get to go to the show last
night. It was really cute. Gosh, I never laughed so much in one
picture.
Mom & dad just went to Grand Rapids and Sue & I are taking care of
the kids. We just put Freddie to bed, so he’s out of the way. I’m
having the worst time trying to keep my cousins quiet, so he’ll
sleep.
Tonight we have to go to a picnic in some place outside of Grand
Rapids. A whole mess of people is giving it for us. Then tomorrow
we are going to Greenville, Mich. to see some people. We’re going to
stay overnight and then go to Sparr, Mich. Thurs.
Those brats just took this letter and read every part of it.
Honestly if you know what I went though just to write you. I nearly
have to hide to write you in peace, without everyone reading it.
They make me so mad! Well I think I’ll go up and eat now, as it’s
12 o’clock.
Darling, please write me. I know your brother is gone now so no
excuses.
Please excuse this writing as I’m trying to write so my cousins
can’t read it.
Love ya' always
Barbara
P.S.
Still love you.
