Dearest Morris
Dearie, I didn’t get a letter today! And I’m mad. No not really, but I did expect one today. And what are you trying to do, kill yourself? Really I bet that car is one mess! Is it drivable? But one good thing you didn’t get hurt.
Dick came over yesterday and all he and Sue did was cut up. They had a wrasling match out in the yard. He took us swimming in the afternoon but we nearly froze. So we didn’t stay very long.
Last night Sue and I went to the show with Helen & her boyfriend. Honest to goodness I’d never go again. Do you know he went 90 miles an hour! He has 48 Packard but I was plum scared all the way up there & back. There are quite a few curves on the road to G.R. and he actually took them at 55 miles per! Honest all the way home I sat in that back seat and prayed. He has a motorcycle and I recon he thought he was driving that. Boy, never again!
Darling, we aren’t leaving here till Tues. morning. We couldn’t get a boat till then.
Oh yeah Dick has a ford so he is going to drive down. Sue & I are going to ride with him. He is going to follow dad.
Well how is you cold now? I hope its’ still sort of bad then I know you won’t go out with another girl!! Darling I’m just kidding but hat was pretty cute, don’t you think so?
Honey I’ll send you our address just as soon as we get to Wis.
Well darling there really isn’t any thing to write but I love you. I
’ll close for now so I can mail this.
Love ya' aways
Barbara
P.S.
I hate Mich. I wish I were home. Just think another Sat. night and no date with you. Boy, the first night we’re home we’re going to have a date, alright with you? Honey, I love you.
Bye, Bye for now
Barb
