Dearest Morris
Gosh, I’m terribly sorry but I really did intend to write Mon. but we left in such a hurry that Mon. afternoon. We left Wayland about 3 in the afternoon. Darling, I got you nice long letter Mon. morning and it was a dandy. Three pages and a half. And darling forgive me. But yesterday on the boat I was going to write but I got sick. Honest, I’m never going on another boat ride. I got so sick I had to like down. We got here in Wis. At grandmas about 12 noon yesterday. Then we had to look for a cottage. That took us all afternoon. We didn’t get one till 7 o’clock last night. And darling, its right on Lake Michigan.
Dick is sitting right by me here at this desk writing to his girl. So I have to be careful. We’re at my aunts now. She’s getting breakfast. They have a big cherry farm and they got about 100 men out there picking right now.
Darling it’s wonderful about that car. Honey do by and get it. Darling we ought to be home in about 2½ weeks. Isn’t that wonderful! Are you having a good time without me?
Guess what!! Grandma Junior made 11 cheese pies! She was amazed that we never ate it before. And is it awfull!! She was plum heart broken cause we didn’t like it.
Darling I’m goad you don’t have to work in that funeral home, with all those dead people. Ugh! Poor Jimmy.
Honest honey I had the worst dream about you last night. But I’m not going to tell you what it was.
Darling I can’t think of another thing to say, so I’ll close for now. And please forgive me for not writing sooner. And don’t be made now and not write me cause I explained it all to you. I’ll write every day from now on.
Darling I still love you.
Love Aways
Barbara
P.S.
I love you. Do you still love me after non writing you for 2 days?
