Dearest Darling,
I should have gotten this letter off this morning, but I didn’t have
time to write it until now.
Darling, Dick, Pop, Buddy Boy, and I didn’t know who all are going
to that thing at Gainesville Friday night. They’ll go right through
Micanopy so darling I thought if you wanted to go to that Fri.
night, I could come up with them. And you could meet me in
Micanopy, and if you wanted I can come home with them too. Darling,
I kind of would like to go, but we’ll do what you want to. We’ll
probably leave here at 6:30 and get in Micanopy about 7:30 (so Dick
said). Homey, you write me just as soon as you get this so I’ll get
your answer Friday. Now I have to know by Friday afternoon, so
don’t forget.
I saw a car like yours in Weirsdale this noon, and gosh for a minute
I thought it was you. Wish it was.
Well I have to close for now as its most time for the bell. Excuse
pencil & paper – all I have. Darling, I’ll expect a letter Fri. and
you know I still love you, but I’ll tell you anyway – I love you.
Love always
Barbara
P.S.
I borrowed this envelope from Mr. Armstrong. See you Fri.
