I forgot to ask you, do you still love me?                                                 Barbara

Dearest Darling,

I thought I would write to you as I have a half hour before I go to play practice.  And you’re supposed to be writing me right now.

We got our pictures today and mine are awfull!   I’m not even buying any (one only I mean for keeps).  Dixies are real good.

Boy was I sleepy this morning.  It was the shortest night!  But it wasn’t very cold, how did you get along?

I’m not going to play practice tomorrow night, cause we have a vocabulary test in Eng. Wed.

We are having 148 words, and I only know about 30 of them.  I’m so sleepy, I wished I didn’t have to go tonight.  I’m about to fall asleep right now.  Sue ate supper this evening with Mary Ann. Nuts, huh?

We had the best steak tonight for supper.  I hope I can cook real good for you when we get married, so you won’t leave me cause I can’t cook!  Would you?

Well darling I can’t think of anything else to write about so I guess I’ll close for I have to pretty soon, and I have to comb my hair and put on some lipstick.

Your forever,
Barbara

P.S.
I still and always will love you.

 P.S.S.
It took me 18 min. to write this. Though you would like to know.

 Love you
Barbara

 P.S.S.
I wish I had a picture of you, so I could see you every night.  I haven’t even one small one.  Why don’t you get one big one made for me?  I don’t’ think I’ll give you one of me til you give me one.  B.Jr.

P.S.S.S.
See you Thurs. nite.  Love Barbara
