Dearest Darling,

I shouldn’t be writing this for I know you won’t take the time to write me or answer this one.  But I love you, and I want to write to you, even if you don’t me.  Cause if you don’t write me this week I know you don’t love me, or anyway that you think going to Williston with Billy or Monroe or Charlie is more important than me. Darling if I get a letter tomorrow, just make believe I never wrote this paragraph, but if I don’t, take and read every word good.

Goodness just the general round today at school.  I plum finished my biograph.  We had a Am. History test, but we had a substitute teacher and if we didn’t know an answer, all we did was to ask anyone and they told us.  I told Allan nearly every answer.  The dumb thing.

I decided not to go to the game Friday night.  I’ll need the sleep, so I won’t go to sleep on you Sat. night.  Play practice aga tonight!  I get so sick of it.  Well, I have to close as we are about to eat.  So bye honey.  I still love you, even if you don’t love me.  (Maybe you do, I’ll see)

Love you forever & forever,
Yours only, Barbara

On the back of the above letter

Here we got kicked out of our study hall, and are one that we can’t say a word.   The senior girls I mean.  I’m plum mad.  Can’t say a ward, and this is when we usually really have a good gab session.

I meant to mail this this noon, but forgot it.  Well I ought to be doing history so I’ll close for now.

Love you forever
 Barbara

P.S.
I’ll mail this this afternoon for sure.
