Hi Honey,

So I don’t love you if I don’t write. Darling I just can’t write a letter because I can’t say what I want to.  Just because I don’t write is no sign I don’t love you.     

Honey I went to basketball practice tonight and am sore as the ----- now and have blisters on the bottom of my feet.  Last night I saw Reddick play and they are pretty good.  You can’t ever tell about them tho.  They were better last year at the beginning of the season than the last.  The score was 17 to 37 boys favor of Reddick.  The girls won but I guess it was in the paper.    

Uncle Max came over tonight and said Jimmie was sick and had a fever.  Ask Sue what she did to the poor boy.     

Darling please don’t get mad at me for not writing and I’m tired and sleepy so will stop.  Remember I love you if I don’t write.
