Dearest Darling,

As I have nothing to do, I’ll answer you letter.  Although I don’t have a thing to tell you!  Except you better not come up Friday nite, cause if I go out I can’t Sat. nite, and I’d rather go out Sat. nite.  Wouldn’t you?  See I will be out next week for the district tournaments, so only one nite this week.  So please come up Sat. nite.  We can go to the show, huh?  And if you top comes in you can put it on Fri. nite.     

Our band played for us this afternoon.  They’re pretty good.  I went sound asleep today in history, and my are nearly broke!    

Boy, has the wind ever been blowing today!  Well, darling I have to close for now.  Its’ almost time for the bell anyway.
