Dearest darling,
Well, it’s hotter than dutch love, but I’ll write
anyway. It’s about 2:30, and I haven’t had much business as yet.
Darling, I was thinking, and I came to the conclusion that you are
going to have your picture made if I have to pay for it! Some Sat.
you can go up and have them made at that studio where we had our
senior pictures made; it won’t take you over 20 min. Maybe I’ll go
with you, and we’ll have one made together, huh? We won’t tell
anyone, just surprise ‘em.
We heard from Sue this morning, and Jimmy left for S. Carolina. She
is coming up Fri. to stay awhile.
I haven’t done anything yesterday or today. I went to bed about 8
last nite. We didn’t close til 7.
Darling, I love you, did you know that? I am really praying that
Russ gets into the navy. Boy we could get married next week,
almost, if you took his place.
Well, honey, don’t forget Friday nite. Until then all my love (and
thats really a lot) and kisses (thats even more.).
Your almost wife,
Who really loves
you lots and lots
and forever & ever.
Barbara
P.S.
3 more days and then
I’ll see you, this week
is going to slow to suite me.
I’ll be glad when I don’t have to write you anymore,
won’t you?
Love, Barbara
