Dearest darling,
Darling I didn’t write yesterday as mom sort of decide
not to go to Atlanta and she never did make up her mind. She said
she would wait until today and see what the doctor said about Sue.
Well, today came and she decided not to go. I knew it all the time;
it was just another one of her brainstorms! When she get mad (like
she did Sun.) she all the time wants to go somewhere. But she gets
over it.
Darling, did you get home O.K. Sun. nite? I’ve been worried about
you, I hope you write me sometime this week. Darling I hope you
write me sometime this week. Darling I miss you so much, I do love
you so much. I’ve been thinking about you all day, and yesterday
too. I wish you were here now.
Oh yes Sue goes to the hospital Aug. 15 and baby ought to be here
the 16th. It’s about 8:30 now, so when I finish this I’m going to
bed. I washed and rolled my hair last nite. And I’ve had the
cramps all day, but I feel alright now. Honey, I’ll look for you
Sat. afternoon, O.K? Please don’t get your car fixed this week end,
but come up. I’ll look for a letter soon, too. Remember I love you
lots and lots and someday (not to long off I hope) I’ll be your
wife. Will you like that? I know I will. Bye now darling and good
nite.
Lots of love, your
almost wife,
Barbara
P.S.
Do you still love me?
I hope you still aren’t
too mad at me, cause honey,
Don’t be mad, I just love
you. I really don’t try to
make you angry.
Please forgive me. Love forever,
Barb.
