Sunday Oct. 22, 2000 Back to Florida
  Left Ft. Tatham campground at 5:45 AM after winterizing the cabin.  Won’t be back until next April or May.  The leaves have been the best & prettiest we’ve seen in 6 years.  Betty & Billy left over a week ago.  Zella Mae & Monroe are leaving Tues or Wed after us.
 
  Carole & Dick were up & stayed in Dixies trailer for a few days this past week.  Sue & Jim have been at Murphy for 2 weeks.  They came over Wed. & we all went to Cherokee to the casino.  We really had a great summer up here despite my bad knee;  I had to have surgery in my left knee for a torn cartilage.  Morris bought a golf cart for me to ride around in (but he uses it more than I do!) We are towing it back to G’ville today.
