  Left Gville at 8:40 AM(52°) out to go to Blountstown to see Brenda & Tom.  Jeremy is coming in from Chicago where he lives with Ann.  He couldn’t make it at Thanksgiving or Christmas as he just started a new job.
 
   Left Brenda’s at 4:55 PM on Monday.  Beth called & said David hadn’t arrived in Manaus so were going home to see if he has called our house.
 
  P.S. He missed his plane from Caracas to Manaus so he came back home.

*Note: David flew to Brazil to spend a couple weeks with our cousin Jancie and her husband Victor who were missionaries on the Amazon. David missed his connecting flight and arrived late in Brazil and didn't have any contact information for the Janice and Victor nor for the man they sent to meet David at the airport. David, not knowing what to do, slept the night in the airport and took the next flight back to Florida. He was so tired when he got back, he slept for 24 hours and thus no one could contact him and no one knew where he was.

The following year, 2005, David again made arrangements to visit Janice and Victor but when he got to the airport in Brazil it turned out he did not renew his visa and they would not let him leave the airport so again he slept the night at the airport and returned to Florida the next day. The movie “The Terminal” with Tom Hanks came out in 2004 and David said they based the movie on him.
