January 11, 2005 - Gainesville
I had a total new replacement on my right knee. I was in the hospital (including therapy) for 8 days. Brenda came up and stayed with me for 3 nights, Morris stayed 3 nights before I could go home. Carole came up from Dunedin to help Morris with the cooking and cleaning. It was really nice to have her help. Had physical therapy at “home” for 4 weeks. Really hard but it had to be.
  
February 15, 2005
Went to Fort Tatham winter reunion in Lake City in February. Very nice. Last meeting Morris presided over as president of the F.T. Association (has been for the last 2 years). Sharon Bragg is the new president. About 70 of us attended. Friday night chicken and rice. Saturday
 
Many if not most of the owners of the seasonal cabins at Fort Tatham lived in Florida so when Fort Tatham was closed for the winter they would get together at different cities in Florida for reunions.
 
Saturday April 23, 2005 – Fort Tatham
Left Sonney’s[1] at Alachua with Betty, Zella Mae and Monroe following us in their car. Light rain and cool. Drove I-75 to Jasper, Florida and then to 441 all the way to Fort Tatham.
Sunday May 22 – Gainesville
 
Left Fort Tatham to go home. Left at 6 AM and got to Gainesville at 4:45 PM. Had heavy rain on I-75. Will stay for two weeks. Coral’s graduation. Dentist for me (new crown). Salad luncheon for Senior Adults Council (Morris and I are both on the council) Had it at Judy Hudson’s beautiful home.

Senior Adults Corn Boil at Larry and Betsy’s Jones farm.
Brenda got here Thursday for Coral’s graduation. We too the whole family out to eat at Joes’s Place for lunch after GHS[2] Graduation at the colosseum.

Went to Reddick’s[3] all grades (from 1939!) luncheon.
 
Saturday June 4, 2005
Baby shower at Kelly’s house for Krystle Junior then to Paul and Yvonne’s home for a after the wedding reception for Brian and Kimberly Dixon. (about 200 there)

Sunday June 5, 2005 – Fort Tatham
Left Gainesville at 6 AM - very warm out. Arrived at Fort Tatham at 3 PM – everything OK here – had to turn on the A/C. I didn’t sleep good at all last night so I’m tired now after putting everything away. Everything was OK after winterizing all the pipes etc. last fall. Glad to be home again.
 
Saturday September 10, 2005 – Fort Tatham
Left Gainesville at 4:45 AM, arrived at Fort Tatham campground at 1:45 PM. 9 hrs
449.5 miles. Everything is OK
