Left Fort Tatham at 6:30 AM, very cold out 38°. We are packed to the Hilt! Apples, tomatoes, clothes, ice chest, and tools, etc. Had to winterize all the pipes etc. before we could leave.

Got gas in Ga. 1.79 – lots better than other places, as its up to 1.99!

Right sunny day up to 76° at noon

Got home at 3:40 PM

Every October Fort Tatham closed for the winter and Mom and Dad would winterize their cabin before packing pack everything up to return to their home in Gainesville, Florida. With the heat off all winter the pipes would freeze so Dad had to drain the water out of the pipes.  They would not return until the spring of the following year.

November 2004, Gainesville

September 2005, Gainesville

December 2004 - Christmas
Friday December 24th
Left Gainesville at 10:30 AM 2004. Sky overcast and cool 46° out. Going to Blountstown, Florida to spend Christmas with Brenda and Tom. I can’t do anything with my right hand. Yesterday had the “thing” cut off my right hand and the red (mole?) on my forehead. I’m doing good.

Had a great time this weekend. Cold every day and night. Mo and I stayed at Ronnie and Seagram Mason’s home every night.

Left at 12:10 noon
Sunny and cool 54°
